Product Description

Independent Truck Company is a skateboard truck manufacturer based in Santa Cruz, California and established in 1978. The company was co-founded by Richard Novak, Jay Shiurman, Fausto Vitello, and Eric Swenson. Vitello is also the founder of Thrasher Magazine and two major skateboard distribution companies — Deluxe and Street Corner. Their first truck, the Stage 1, changed it all in 1978. Shred the streets and charge the parks on the Independent Stage 11 Forged Silver Trucks. A lighter but still burly version of the quick-turning Indy standard Stage 11s, they’re constructed with aluminum hangers and baseplates, and steel axles and kingpins for rugged durability. And with an improved kingpin yoke to prevent mid-grind hangups and high-impact Supercush bushings, you can hit rails, stairs, banks and bowls with full confidence.
